I looked up at the ceiling, comtemplating not only my life choices, but also what'd it be like if I had depth perception. I think I got lost in thought of the latter.
Dr. Agnis: Mylo?
Me: H-huh?
Dr. Agnis: We were talking about you're upbringing, I believe.
Me: Oh... yeah. Sorry, I got distracted.
Dr. Agnis: It's alright. Can we talk about you're father.
Me: Uhh, like for therapy reasons?
Dr.Agnis: *laughs* Well I'm a psychologist, Mylo, my doctorate isn't in theology.
Mylo: ...right. Just wanted to make sure I understood. I, uh, don't have much of a relationship with my dad. We haven't spoken in years, not since I, uh, "fell".
Dr. Agnis: And how does that feel, to be away from your father?
Mylo: It's... for the best. I've found my family.
Dr. Agnis: I think our time's up Mylo. You should schedule for a second appointment.
