Ekkochambers is the website of experimental artist Ian/Iana Spencer(that's me), who's work ranges from genre-blending music to arty indie games.

Born on the year 2000 in Tampa Bay with both unrestricted access to the internet and a familial encouragement to appriciate the arts, my inspiration lies in Slaughterhouse 5, The Decemberists and Edgar Allen Poe as much as it does Sonic.exe, 100gecs and Ville Kallio. As such, I often mix "lowbrow" Very Online aesthetics with "highbrow" thematic concepts. In my music, I'm just as likely to namedrop Marx and Emma Goldmen (twice, actually), Diogenes ("Behold! It's a man in his new jorts!") or Kurt Vonnegut ("I can't go on / fed to a machine that does nothing at all / a Vonneguttian fall") as I am to reference a semi-obscure internet happening or piece of media ("Shodan's made of flesh / hit em with Ransenware and don't let em settle the-","I feel like Toriel, cuz they all wanna fuck n kiss the G.O.A.T.!", "3 to 5 day, staple squirels to your "wife", "I feel like Trevor Henderson cuz I make monsters in my head", ok there are a lot of these ones...)

But enough about my questionable (albeit clever, if I do say so myself :P) lyrics. I make more than just music and pictures (yeah I do CG and raster painting, w/ Blender and Krita/an inpiroy respectively) I also make video games, and my hobby game are all free and you should play them (maybe play the newer ones first tho... My early games are obviously worse than the newer ones i've made since lol)

Mini-Blog

Going on vacation today! My parents's house is in need of repair, so they're going to Orlando and they invited me to tag along! *maybe* i'll give some updates on how it went :P

Genuinely, everyone should go listen to Echo Alexander, and not just because we're mutuals on bsky lol. They're making some of the more interesting music ive seen in recent years, they have a distinct and unique style but they span styles. Hella underrated imo
